| About Wellness, Inc. |
Founded in 1995, Wellness, Inc. reflects years of eclectic research, and a lifetime of cultivation, by creator Karen Voght. The results represent a fresh application of "current thinking" on the health and learning benefits of body-mind interaction to childcare and early childhood education as we transition into an electronic age. Currently, two key programs have been developed for children ages 2-8:
Alphabet Fitness for Kids
Kids' Wellness Imagination WorkOuts
Brain mapping studies indicate slow growth of brain regions associated with language during this physically and mentally active period of growth, which led Wellness, Inc. to look into a synthesizing of the following fields:
childhood play theory
positive mental imagery
cross-hemispheric brain-body activity
bio-feedback
muscular response to spoken words
relaxation techniques
In response, Wellness, Inc. now provides playful exercise programs and reinforcement products and tools never before available to help 2-6 year-old populations acquire healthy reading readiness skills. The result being, that this age group, for the first time, is enabled to systematically utilize their natural gross-motor, bi-lateral muscle movements and active imaginations as life-long tools for playful reading, writing, and overall mental and physical fitness.

These programs are "evolutionary tools" for children to learn to adapt to, and be confident within, their changing environments. Children develop a heightened level of learning and reading readiness, kindness, impulse control, and cooperating skills basic preparations for future school years and life beyond.
