About Wellness, Inc.
Questions & Answers

Do you have offices I can visit?
Wellness, Inc. is lean and efficient in our 21st-century cyberspace offices. We now offer E-trainings, consultation services, and occasional workshops. As programs grow, our goal is to offer a chatroom platform for direct interactions among parents, home-schoolers, educators, health/fitness intstructors, and the medical/theraputic community, to share their experiences from the use of our programs. This format will offer new opportunities for educational research, as well the sharing of innovative implementations.

Where can I take my child to participate in Alphabet Fitness, or observe a session in progress?
As we bring more and more facilities online through the President's Challenge activities, we will increase the number of sites available for observation. Meanwhile, please feel free to call preschools and elementary schools, afterschool programs, camps, etc. in your area to inquire about our programs. If our programs are not yet available in your community, please ask the relevant administrator to contact us for information, or feel free to contact us us directly.

How do teachers involve parents in these programs?
Our programs are designed to be self-explanatory, and are formatted to be shared with a child's family, as well as structured programs. Participating adults physically and mentally "act out" the provided Alphabet Fitness exercises alongside the child. This encourages a healthy retention of each lesson. Products are designed for play, home, and school are included. (Maintaining a playful environment while learning Alphabet Fitness speeds up healthy muscle and memory development.)

For what age children are your programs most appropriate?
The early exercises of Alphabet Fitness can be beneficial to very young children in one-on-one relationships as parents see fit. Structured training is more appropriate for children three and older.

How does Alphabet Fitness' cross-lateral educational style of teching help my child learn more rapidly?
Similar to theories suggesting the positive influences of music on learning, the brain receives more balanced stimulation for maintaining whole-brain integration when both sides of the body move while learning.

Will my child continue to require physical activities to read and write effectively?
Our program is designed as a boost to initial learning, and to develop necessary muscle familiarity and whole-brain patterning. Once the brain and body have formed strong neuromuscular alphabet and simple-word links, the technique becomes similar to learning to ride a bicycle; using tricycles and training wheels at first, then cultivating the self-confidence and experience to move on to two-wheelers. For physical and cognitive well-being, large muscle exercises and learning experiences in general should remain a constant part of everyone's everyday experiences.

Why hasn't this been standard educational practice all along?
Because the increase in today's sedentary lifestyles has reached a tipping point where it now conflicts with many established ways of teaching.

Why are your muscle monitoring techniques so important to learning and creativity?
Chronic tension makes both the brain and the body less intelligent. Tense muscles do not permit the optimal flow of chemical-electrical information between the body and its brain, which is mentally, physically, and emotionally harmful to a child's memory retention and overall well-being.

When, where, and at what cost do you provide seminars to deliver Alphabet Fitness programs?
Please see our E-trainings on front page or contact us directly for the most up-to-date information.
